The Big Bitch....

NoBACoN co-founder Mike G hasn't been painting Nerf blasters for very long, but his over the top Post-Apocalyptic style is certainly turning some heads! Let's look at some examples of his work after the jump!

"I learned the painting techniques for the post apocalyptic, high wear and tear blasters when I was studying to be a texture artist in college. Many of the characters and items designed in a 3d environment really start to look great when you add a "history" to the model."

"Some people would really focus on making Shiney "new" looking materials, but I tended more to focus on the filthy used objects one would find around a junkyard. There are ton of movies and

games now days that have a "real life" used feel to there props and I think that is where I pull the creative design for the blasters I paint."

A short demonstration of Mike's techniques, apologies for the potato quality.
